Sales start at the end of April, about 31,000 Euro
The Chinese electric car Xpeng P7 is launched. The price of this sedan is about 31,000 euros, less than half of the Tesla Model S, but it replicates many functions. For example, the autopilot-Tesla therefore went to court.
Chinese automaker Xpeng was unabashedly inspired by Tesla. Finally, Tesla announced in 2014 that it will provide all patents to OEM manufacturers in the form of open source. However, this is too much for California manufacturers last year.

Tesla accused a former employee of stealing the source code of the autopilot function and is now using it in Xpeng. Not affected by this, the company established in 2014 now announces the release of Xpeng P7. price? It's unbelievable!
Price 49,000 Euro-fully equipped
After conversion, the basic price of Xpeng P7 should be 31,000 Euros. Even if it is fully equipped, the cost of an electric car is only 49,000 euros. The market started on April 27, initially in China.
As a comparison: Xpeng P7 can be seen as a direct competitor of Tesla Model S, and not less than 87,000 euros. At present, even the Tesla Model 3, the basic configuration price must reach at least 44,000 euros.
Endurance 700 km, using NVIDIA chip
Despite the low price, cars from China still provide attractive equipment on paper. For example, the company claims that its cruising range is up to 700 kilometers. In addition, thanks to 13 cameras, 12 ultrasonic sensors, 5 radar units and an internal camera [level 3], electric cars can be driven automatically on highways and cities-Tesla is no longer there. The basic technology comes from Nvidia. There is also an automatic parking function like Tesla.
It is unclear whether Xpeng will bring electric vehicles such as P7 to Germany in the foreseeable future. Considering that the price of Volkswagen ID.3 is not far from us, the car will definitely revive the German market. At present, the focus is on the domestic market. Permits for testing operations can also be performed on California highways.
