Gaming News Yakuza 8: The Game has finally been unveiled with a trailer that’s got fans excited!
We expected it and therefore we were not disappointed: Yakuza 8 has just been made official during the showcase dedicated to the Japanese saga, trailers in support. It even contains initial information.
Don’t call it Yakuza anymore, call it Like a Dragon
It was the great expectation of the SEGA showcase today and the date was not missed: The editor lifted the lid on Yakuza 8 with a trailer to enjoy above, without moderation. To note that The Yakuza name seems obsolete now that the company is now opting for Like a Dragon (introduced with the previous episode “Yakuza: Like a Dragon”, which wasn’t called Yakuza 7 yet, you know?).
In short, Like a Dragon 8 is currently wowing a whole fanbase, and with good reason: The trailer confirms the presence of Ichiban Kasuga, the previous game’s hero, but also the return of the visibly aged cult Kazuma Kiryu.
Together
Voice actors Takyaka Kuroda and Kazuhiro Nakaya will reprise the roles of Kazuma Kiryu and Ichian Kasuga: So we’re told that the two heroes will split the bill throughout and that this new tandem will be at the heart of the story.
Also note that there will be Like a Dragon 8 again a turn-based role-playing game and thus takes up the formula of the previous part which had given the saga a second wind.
As for the release date, only a vague “2024” is given for the time being however, with a number of targeted platforms: PC, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series and Xbox One. All you have to do is wait patiently for new information.
