As we all know, the first evolution of Diablo IV after its release came with Season 4: Reborn, which significantly improved the game’s loot and itemization cycles. The next evolution will arrive with the Ship of Hatred expansion and its aptly named patch 2.0.
Blizzard hasn’t fully explained what patch 2.0 will do to the game, but the developer recently confirmed something players have long suspected: the leveling curve is about to undergo a major change, possibly even in the form of a level cap compression.
The good news is, we don’t have to wait too long to find out what’s going to happen.
