hello. Now that we have announced that we will be hosting a Nintendo Direct tomorrow (February 21st), naturally many people are looking forward to Microsoft. Well, except for fans of Hollow Knight: Silk Song, who were just thinking about what Vass said in Far Cry 3.
Yes, after Xbox updated its multi-platform plans last week via a snappy little podcast, we now have a reveal from Nintendo that reportedly happened around the same time as Phil Spencer’s chat. What will we see? Of course, there’s a lot of speculation surrounding the game that’s thought to be part of a mysterious four Xbox games for different consoles.

If you’ve got your calendar ready, this Nintendo Direct: Partner Showcase will air on February 21, 2024 at 2pm GMT / 9am ET / 6am PT via YouTube. Nintendo says that what’s coming soon: “Approximately 25 minutes of information from our publishing and development partners will focus on Nintendo Switch games launching in the first half of 2024.”
So, at least we know how long we’ll be sitting there this time. What are people expecting? Well, check out ResetEra, if you like a tough drinking game, then for the next 24 hours or so, every time you see someone on social media mentioning Hi-Fi Rush, Pentiment, or Sea of Thieves, you might want to give it a try (just to be clear, we don’t actually support doing this).

You could also add Hollow Knight: Silk Song to the list of things people want to see, although the grizzled veterans of the game’s Reddit subreddit are ready to be pretty pissed if it doesn’t show up. stupid. Hey, it’s been five years since Silksong was originally released, who can forgive people for still getting their hopes up every time they see a Direct announcement.
