Ubisoft is currently under pressure: The business results of the year so far are disappointing – the online shooter XDefiant has also fallen short of the publisher’s expectations. That’s why Ubisoft has now announced a quality offensive for its games and promised to make up ground with players. A packed second season in XDefiant should now help the shooter gain popularity among players again. The new trailer gives an insight into the upcoming content: Season 2 contains a new faction, the Highwaymen, which in turn comes with new weapons such as the scrap turret and the saw launcher. Also included are the three new maps Waterfront, Air & Space and Signal as well as a new arena mode called Bombe, which is somewhat reminiscent of the well-known gameplay of Counter Strike. On top of that, there is of course also a new Battle Pass. Season 2 started on September 25th.
