News culture “You have 200 days until an asteroid collides with Earth.” This new Korean SF series could be the hit of April
In April, Netflix plans to once again bring the best of South Korean culture to its subscribers with a new moving K-drama.
The Pre-Apocalypse is coming to Netflix
Netflix and South Korea, a relationship that works wonderfully. The streaming platform works closely with studios in the Land of the Morning Calm to bring its subscribers the best of Korean productions. Proof of this is once again a promising new K-drama: Goodbye Earth, scheduled for release on April 26th. The summary is as follows:
Only 200 days remain before an asteroid hits Earth, plunging the world into complete chaos. However, in this Netflix series, some remain determined to make the most of every day they have left to live and to make the most of their humanity until the end.

A promising adaptation project
Goodbye Earth originally comes from the short story collection Shûmatsu no Furu by Japanese author Kotaro Isaka. An author who film fans may know because his book “Bullet Train” was adapted for the cinema in particular in the film of the same name starring Brad Pitt.
Goodbye Earth is an apocalypse story and must first focus on the people and their response to the catastrophe that is on the horizon. A promising scenario, also supported by a veteran of ambitious projects. So in the direction we find in particular Kim Jin-min, who has already worked with Netflix several times by directing several episodes of the series Extracurricular and creating a powerful thriller for the platform My Name, which had great success during the year. It was published in Year 2021. We hope that Goodbye Earth will inspire at least the same enthusiasm among fans when it releases on April 26th.
