Game news Ys VI: Napishtim’s Ark arrives on cellphones in Japan in 2021
After three episodes released on mobile, it is the turn of the sixth part of the Ys saga, which will be released in a mobile version currently only for Japan and planned for next year.
While Ys IX: Monstrum Nox is expected here on February 5th on PC, PS4 and Switch, Falcolm has announced the release of an old episode of his cult action RPG saga with Ys VI: The Ark of Napishtim, the first title in the Ys series in 3D, on mobile in 2021
This is not the first time the Ys series has appeared on mobile phones as DotEmu was responsible for porting the first and second episodes with Ys Chronicles 1 and Ys Chronicles 2 in 2015 and 2016. Ys VIII: Lacrimosa by Dana was also entitled to his version on the phone in 2019, but not with us. In light of this, it is unlikely that we will get this sixth work next year.
As a reminder, Ys VI: Napishtim’s Ark tells the story of Adol and his friend Dogi, who set out to explore an unknown archipelago in the Atlas Ocean and who are attacked by pirates along the way. After seeing their shipwreck, Adol wakes up on the coast of Canaan and survives thanks to the care of Isha and Olha, two elf-like women. The hero will then realize that he has landed on an island where people are not welcome and that he must survive.
