Yu so mysterious
In a few words, Yu Suzuki raises many questions. When he talks about shooters and roleplaying games, does that mean he plans to work on games like this this year? Does the reference to fighting games mean that the creator of Virtua Fighter will be involved in the new VF Ax eSport recently announced by SEGA? Or that he’s planning to develop a new fighting game?
Finally, does his “sequel” remark concern Shenmue IV? Does he think he can push this forward in 2021? Or is he referring to a sequel to one of the many other games he’s worked on in his career? Impossible to say at the moment. As a reminder, Yu Suzuki no longer really works for SEGA, but he says he has good relations with the publisher. Shenmue fans can still keep their fingers crossed.
As a reminder, Yu Suzuki has already said that he was involved in a “new project“A year ago. The hour in which these lines will be written has not yet been announced.
