Anyone who takes out an annual subscription with Zattoo can stream the provider’s over 200 TV channels more cheaply. While many customers prefer subscriptions with a monthly cancellation option, the streaming providers reward you with discounts if you opt for a longer-term subscription. Zattoo is no exception.

Short notice periods are relatively new, especially for linear TV reception, but of course providers like Zattoo are also moving with the times and allowing both monthly and annual subscriptions. How much you can save with the latter depends on the tariff you choose. Zattoo offers three different paid options: Smart HD, Premium and Ultimate.

Zattoo Smart HD annual subscription: How much you save

The budget tariff Zattoo Smart HD is the cheapest tariff beyond the mercilessly stripped down free version. Smart HD is interesting for single households and price-conscious people who still don’t want to do without HD television. The channel list is the same as in the higher-priced Premium and Ultimate subscriptions, but you have to do without functions.

While the price savings in the Smart HD savings subscription are downright marginal, a much better deal is possible in the mid-range Zattoo Premium tariff. For the multi-screen subscription with the convenient Live Pause and Restart functions, the proportional savings are actually about four times greater than in the cheaper Smart subscription, making it the biggest deal in the Zattoo range:

Zattoo Ultimate annual subscription: The best deal for large households

In fact, not only the proportional but also the absolute savings for Zattoo Ultimate per year are lower than in the Premium subscription. In return, you get recording storage and streaming on up to four screens at the same time, making it ultimately the best deal for large households.
