Zheyu Li, producer of the upcoming urban fantasy gacha-style RPG Zenless Zone Zero, which is set to launch on PC, PlayStation 5, and mobile devices on July 4, said he would eventually like to see his game released on “all platforms.”
Zenless Zone Zero’s developers have been hinting at a possible Switch port for a while now, and this isn’t the first time the HoYoverse game has been rumored to be releasing on more consoles in the future. Ever since Genshin Impact launched to great success on PC, mobile devices, and PS4 in 2020, it’s been anticipated that it would be released on other platforms; the PlayStation 5 version came out in 2021 after a relatively short wait, but since the announcement that a Switch port would be released at some point, there’s been very little news about the port.

As with Genshin Impact and Honkai Impact 3, there’s no confirmed release window for the other platforms Zenless Zone Zero will be coming to, whereas each new HoYo game’s release seems to be roughly targeted at mobile, PC, and PlayStation. While the company’s ongoing partnership with PlayStation has long been clear—Genshin Impact even had an official crossover with Horizon Zero Dawn at one point—it’s been far less obvious whether other consoles will actually get HoYoverse games.
However, when asked about hints about a Switch release during an interview with iGamesNews, Lee was excited about the possibility of his game coming to all available platforms one day.
When asked if his ambitions also extended to a potential Xbox port — a dream that was quickly squashed by Genshin Impact fans at the time — Lee simply repeated these words:all
However, he was careful to point out that he personally hopes to see the game launch everywhere, but this does not mean that the official is preparing more console ports. The team’s current priority is to ensure that Zenless Zone Zero performs well when it lands on PC, mobile devices, and PS5 early next month. The game’s social media accounts recently celebrated the number of pre-registrations reaching 40 million – about four times that of “Genshin Impact” and “Honkai Impact 3” before their respective releases – so the developers know that there are a lot of people waiting in line to see this game.
Elsewhere in the HoYoverse port news (or lack thereof), there’s still no further news on the upcoming PlayStation 4 release of Honkai Impact 3rd, which came to PS5 last October after launching on PC and mobile earlier this year.
