Because a small developer studio from local areas is currently preparing to complete Zero Zero: Behind Enemy Lines, a well-respectable competitor, and send it into the race. The title only recently appeared on the scene and, understandably, has since aroused interest among the first pl ayers.
Zero Six is primarily inspired by the SOCOM game series as well as the still developing H-Hour and is therefore something like the two franchises mentioned. The studio admits this inspiration on Twitter itself, but emphasizes that although you want to use the camera perspective of the SOCOM games, you want to equip your own title with a much more modern game mechanics as far as the fighting is concerned. Overall, tactical action will play a crucial role.
Technically, the title relies on the Unreal Engine 4 from Epic Games; this should also enable destructive environments and a dynamic time of day system. In the multiplayer area, Zero Six is said to have several different tactical and team-oriented game modes to offer, but also single player friends should get their money's worth. Accordingly, there will also be a campaign for a Spec Ops unit – based on the NAVY Seal Team Six.
The release is initially planned for PC, later implementations for PS4 and Xbox One will follow; The makers are currently unable to comment on next-gen versions. Zero Six: Behind Enemy Lines does not yet have a release date. On the official website you can still register for an upcoming alpha test phase.
