The successor to the Nintendo Switch has yet to be announced, but there have been various rumors, insider information and more that have created a lot of speculation and theories among fans. All signs point to an announcement soon. However, the rumors are still swirling for now, and a new development on the way to the hardware reveal might interest some of you.
You see, the Game Developers Conference, or GDC for short, released their State of the Games Industry 2024 report earlier today. One of the things included in the report was a survey of more than 3,000 developers. Developers were asked about their work and the games industry. One question revealed that 8% of developers are currently working on a video game for a Nintendo Switch successor, and another question confirmed that 32% of developers are excited about a Nintendo Switch successor.
