Every month, Niantic holds a special day in Pokemon GO that features a specific Pokemon. This event, called Community Day, typically lasts for only a few hours. However, it usually results in some interesting adjustments for players, such as the specific Pokemon appearing more frequently in the wild.
However, this is an exception. The first Community Day of 2022 had already been announced late last month, but that’s not the only one being held in January. A return to the event’s roots, during the “Season of Heritage”, is also happening. On January 22nd, from 2pm to 5pm local time, you’ll be able to take part in the “Community Day Classic” event, which features Bulbasaur.
You’ll be able to find Bulbasaur more often in the wild, and for $1, you can “access the Bulbasaur Community Day Classic–exclusive Special Research story: Bulbasaur Community Day Classic”. You’ll also be able to “evolve Ivysaur (Bulbasaur’s Evolution) during the event or up to two hours afterward to get a Venusaur that knows the Charged Attack Frenzy Plant”, and much more.
