Last month it appeared to be launched Lydia on Nintendo Switch, a narrative game based on real-life experiences and "critical childhood memories" of its developers. We thought it was one of the games that had the most impact on the console when we played it for review, so we definitely recommend putting it out if you haven't already.
The game is presented with a $ 1 / £ 0.90 DLC optional purchase that gives players a coloring book on Lydia, but most importantly it helps raise money Weak Childhood, a nonprofit organization that prevents harm caused by drug abuse by parents. Today, publisher Nakana.io has revealed that nearly 1,000 players have freely spent their money on DLC, releasing a full game and a bunch of DLC as a result.
The cone is available to pick up on Switch eShop from today, so if you want to enjoy the game and give a good reason at the same time, this is an easy way to keep doing it. Nakana.io's chief executive, Mikaël Bourget, said the donations are "a great reflection of the generosity of the players and show how powerful games can be to convey messages and inspire change".
