Lydia is one of those indie titles that come out of the script and of what we can see in a common way in a videogame catalog, to bring us to our consoles a Dark game that makes allegory of substance abuse.

To better explain how this project came about, the CEO of Platonic Partnership, Jussi Loukiainen, has expressed in a recent interview for GameIndustry the details that surrounded the process:

We wanted to make a game ‘to feel bad’ and use those emotions and feelings that our team members had as starting material. It's based on real emotions, and I think that's one of the reasons why it feels so raw. We didn't want to make an educational game, we just wanted to show how it felt. Games typically deal with fun and colorful things. We wanted to do something completely different.

What do you think about his statements and the arrival of titles like this?
