As planned, Animal Crossing: New Horizons You received your Carnival update a few seconds ago today. Players can now download the corresponding version on Nintendo Switch.

Remember this patch 1.7.0 It includes outstanding novelties for the February Conga Carnival event and also adds new emotions and more. We remind you of the contents:

  • Carnival event. Nothing fights the cold like moving your skeleton and the colorful Carnival event will be filled with dancing… and lots of feathers! On February 15, the dancer Conga will arrive at the island’s plaza to distribute confetti and carnival spirit in equal measure. On that day alone, players will be able to catch the feathers floating around the island using their net and exchange them with Conga for a passionate dance number. Rainbow feathers seem to be especially difficult to find, so ideally, take them all and exchange them with Conga. Players can invite friends to their island or visit them to participate in the festivities together.
  • New emotions. In order to express their feelings well during Carnival, players will be able to purchase the “Carnival Emotion Set” in-game. You will find it on the shelves of MiniNook and you can pay for it with berries, for a limited time. The set includes the emotions Choreography, Vamos, Viva and Confetti.
  • New outfits. If you are going to a party, you must dress for the occasion, so starting February 1, Carnival costumes will be available for a limited time in the Handy Sisters store.
  • Seasonal objects. New seasonal items will be available on TeleNook, so players will be able to celebrate love by purchasing the “Lovers Chocolates Box” and the “Lovers Bouquet” from February 1 to 14, inclusive. Other items will be available during certain periods in January and February related to the Lunar New Year and a Grand Sports Final. You have all the details and images of these objects, including the gift Maracas, here.
