Nintendo had confirmed that Animal Crossing: New Horizons was getting its next update on November 19, so it was just a matter of time before the update was released. As promised, Nintendo has released an update, bringing the beast cross: The new Horizons version 1.6.0
This is a great winter update. Add Turkish Day and Toy Day events, new hair styles and responses, additional enhancements you can make to your home storage, the power to visit random islands in Dreams, some New Year’s items, and much more. Official notes are below.
Standard updates
- Two annual events have been added, Turkey Day and Toyi Day.
- Citizens can visit Resident Services to apply for an increase in their home s torage capacity.
- Luna can now offer random dream locations by choosing the “Surprise Me” option.
- A new feature for transferring storage data between different systems has been added.
- This feature only transfers storage data to Animal Crossing: New Horizon. If necessary, please use the Nintendo Switch feature to “Transfer Your User Data”. Learn more about keeping data transfers here.

- Additional rescue items for Nook Miles.
- Extra time items from Nook Shopping.
- Additional DIY recipes using seasonal ingredients.
- Extras Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp the object of cooperation.
