An inspired aquarium experience Animal Crossing: New Horizons the game is expanding nationally! After debuting at the Seattle Aquarium, the experience hits the road in June and makes multiple stops across the US throughout the year.
Each aquarium on the tour will host themed activities and offer guests the chance to explore the wonders of aquatic life with the addition of Animal Crossing: New Horizons. By going on a national tour, even more fans will have the opportunity to interact with some of their favorite Animal Crossing characters while learning more about the animal kingdom in the real world.
Local exhibitions will include:
- Animal Crossing: New Horizons photo opportunity, featuring an aquarium-themed background featuring characters from the game.
- Themed signs throughout the aquarium will feature descriptions of the creatures presented by Blathers with information directly from the game.
- Standing of famous characters from the game throughout the aquarium near various habitats.
- I Nintendo kiosks where guests can sign up to receive 100 I Nintendo Platinum Points redeemable at my.nintendo.com for exclusive digital and physical rewards.
- Plus, guests can even have the chance to meet and greet Isabelle, Tom Nook or KK Slider from Animal Crossing: New Horizons on select days and stops!
Planned aquariums for this partnership include:
- Ripley’s Aquarium in Irtle Beach, South Carolina (June 14 through August 11)
- Audubon Aquarium in New Orleans, Louisiana (June 21 to September 14)
- Georgia Aquarium in Atlanta, Georgia (August 1 to September 26)
- Oregon Coast Aquarium in Newport, Oregon (August 26 to October 20)
- New England Aquarium in Boston, Massachusetts (September 21 to December 14)
- SEA LIFE Arizona Aquarium in Tempe, Arizona (October 4 to November 17)
- Tennessee Aquarium in Chattanooga, Tennessee (December 21 through February 28)
