In the video that we leave you below, we can know the date on which this improved edition will be released on Nintendo Switch. will premiere November 1, 2022 in the Americas and November 8, 2022 in Europe.
Along with ARK: Ultimate Survivor Edition, ARK: Survival Evolved
It provides a much improved version of the game completely rebuilt in the latest version of the Unreal Engine. It has the following:
- enhanced visual effects
- improved performance
- a reduced download size
- the Host/Join menu has been renamed to Single Player, where we have refined the menus to provide a more streamlined experience for starting a single player game. While Single Player is fully present, please note that Local Play and Non-Dedicated Sessions are removed from the game at launch. They need a bit more development time to iron out some issues, and we intend to bring them back in a post-release patch.
Additional Notes: This new version of the game is compatible with any existing saves. However, before downloading the update, make sure to do the following to avoid problems:
- Remove items from Hot Bar slots 9 and 10
- Have no taming in progress or crafting recipes
Additionally, players can keep all of their current items, tames, and structures. However, changing saved data files may cause the following:
- Foliage can respawn inside your base
- You may lose any custom Options settings
- Any structure left ‘on’ will automatically ‘off’
- Fog of War will reset on your game map.
- You may need to reapply your Level Up and Engram points
- You may need to rediscover any browser notes you found before
