A number of Nintendo first party games received software updates last night and those games are ARMS (Version 5.4.1) Splatoon 2 (Version 5.5.1) Super Mario Maker 2 (Version 3.0.2) and Animal Crossing: New Horizons (Version 2.0.6) The patch notes for all four first party games are relatively sparse, simply stating that they are stability related updates. Dataminer @OatmealDome believes that all four games were patched by Nintendo due to a recently discovered security bug within a common code component.
