The Game Awards aren’t the only place to go for year-end gaming awards. Many other gaming media will do a similar thing. For example, the British Academy of Film and Television Arts, or BAFTA for short, has confirmed the nominations for its Game of the Year award.
What makes the BAFTA Awards different from other media is that the winners are chosen by game developers. This year’s nominees include 2 first-party games published by Nintendo. However, the winner will not be chosen until April 11. For now, you can see the nominees below.
