As we already informed you, Square Enix confirmed an official demo of Balan Wonderworld planned for the past January 27th in the eShop at least in Japan. As a result, players were able to experience the first two acts and the boss of chapter 1 alongside the first act of chapter 4 and the first act of chapter 6. The central area of the island is also included and it is compatible with local multiplayer of the game.
Not surprisingly, it seems the reception was unfortunately uneven, but your feedback was definitely helpful to the development team. Noriyoshi Fujimoto, the producer of Balan Wonderworld, has announced that the game will receive a patch on the first day.
These have been his statements:
Being true to the nature of Balan Wonderworld, I would like us to follow in the footsteps of the enigmatic Master Balan and find balance in our own hearts. Especially when it comes to addressing the feedback we’ve received from our demo.
There has been a wide variety of opinions and responses to the demo and, unfortunately, at the current stage of development, it is not possible to reflect all the comments in the game. However, to give you all a more balanced gameplay experience, we will be rolling out a day one patch for the full game.
Specifically, this patch will adjust the motion controls, camera shake, and difficulty rebalancing. There is a little over a week left until the launch, so I hope you all enjoy the world of Wonderworld to the fullest!
Finally, we remind you of your premise and his trailer:
Balan Wonderworld is a platform video game with a musical touch in which, thanks to about 80 magical costumes, we can learn unique skills with which to overcome the many challenges that await us in the video game. The development led by Yuji Naka and Oshima Naoto invites us to travel to Wonderworld, a strange country that exists in people’s hearts and imaginations, and discover up to 12 stories, each with its own peculiarities, in the role of Leo and Emma. Along the way, players, whether solo or cooperative, will explore the corners of labyrinthine scenarios, full of tricks and traps, to get to the bottom of the story.
