Fans have been wanting to see Banjo-Kazooie return for years. The duo appeared in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate as a playable character, but other than that, Microsoft and Rare have continued to let the franchise sit dormant since Banjo-Kazooia: Nuts & Bolts was released in 2008.
Unfortunately, that doesn’t seem to be changing any time soon. However, Banjo-Kazooie’s Grant Kirkhope teased that “things are up” on social media, before clarifying a day later that it’s not Banjo-Kazooie-related at all. Kirkhope even agreed with one fan who said not to expect anything from Banjo at this point.
