Bayonetta, Cereza, Demon, Lost, Origins, Today

It’s time to turn the pages of Bayonetta Origins: Cereza and the Lost Demon for Nintendo Switch, a vividly illustrated adventure storybook about the enchanting story of a young apprentice in the dark arts. Players can now join Cereza and her demon Cheshire on a journey through a fairy-infested forest to discover the origins of the titular Umbra Witch.

Long before she would become known as “Bayonetta,” Cereza threw caution to the wind and headed into the dangerous Avalon Forest in hopes of rescuing her imprisoned mother. Matching her and Cheshire’s unique abilities is key to overcoming the forest’s many tricks, traps, and especially Tír na nÓgs – illusory dungeons that will put Ceres and Cheshire’s teamwork to the test. Elemental cores found during the adventure will further enhance the duo’s capabilities – opening up new ways to explore the forest and improving their combat strategies.

A free Bayonetta Origins: Cereza and the Lost Demon demo featuring early chapters of the game is now also available on the Nintendo eShop for Nintendo Switch. Players can transfer their demo save data to the full version of the game and continue their adventure where they left off. Both in the demo and in the full game, accessibility options such as reducing damage or automating certain controls can help Bayonetta newcomers and fans enjoy the game to their liking.
