Change the most likely you will not discovering a cyberpunk game that is talked about like everyone else right now (boo!), but that doesn't mean they exist no examples of the type found on the platform. Similar topics Observer, Neo Cab and Astral Chain, There is no sin is a fun game, even though it is full of flaws, yet it is worth considering if you are a dystopian lover.
It takes place in the middle of a scattered city, Sinless is a master of clicks and clicks on the elements of the visual novel genre for good measure. You will spend a lot of your time exploring the environment around you and the people and things you have to interact with to improve the story. Its structure is slow and deliberate, but unfortunately it doesn't last very long. Or stop connecting with people all a possible point of interest in the game, most likely done with it in about 2 or 3 hours, up.
Networking with urban people also offers some forms of communication that you can explore. Most of these are simply because of it, and they rarely provide any kind of logical impact on a building, but we found ourselves talking to as many people as possible. The devs also use this opportunity to toss some chicken eggs and references to other examples of pop culture, with a clear nod Dark Souls at the beginning.
Next to basic gameplay, Sinless also features a few games that were accessed through the in-game inventory system. These are too much rudimentary takes on classic games like Poetry of the Rage, and while they'll hold your attention for more than a few minutes, the way they're integrated into the game's structure is impressive, and they definitely show a welcome break from the usual click-and-click theme.
The first thing that will hit you when you start the game is the highlights. Sin is undoubtedly a unique visual game, but not always in a good way. The scenes never indeed it looks clear enough, and everything is too dark or too light, with multiple sources of obnoxious flare lenses blurring your vision from time to time. It looks good enough, but with a game that requires you to investigate every nook and cranny, the visuals often get in the way of gameplay.
A great way to feel that Sinless is hand-held mode, with the game taking full advantage of the switchchreen touch capabilities. Yes, you can also use an analogue stick to move the cursor to the screen, but this is slow and very difficult. It's a short game, and it's not a molded experience, but Sinless is nonetheless a nice take on the kind of cyberpunk that will impress you enough to see it through to the end.
