As many of you will know, the recognized Bloodstained: Ritual Of The Night It was funded by the consumers themselves, and one of the objectives promised with the campaign was a roguelike or dungeon exploration mode.
Unfortunately designer Koji Igarashi has announced the cancellation of this way that still was in development, for being incompatible with the current engine of the game. The developer plans to compensate by adding a new randomizer mode that will reach all players for free.

Game Mode Changes
One of the promised campaign goals was Roguelike. Unfortunately, the code that was created at the beginning of development is not currently compatible with this type of game (especially a procedure-generated castle). Because of this, we regret to announce that we will not develop Roguelike as part of the planned objectives of the project.
We know that this is a way that many of you eagerly awaited and we apologize for not being able to make it happen as planned.
We do not want to leave a place in the list, so we have developed a new game mode called "Randomizer" as a replacement. Randomizer will launch with Zangetsu and will be available for free. Details on Randomizer are presented below.
Boss Revenge mode
In Discord, the "Boss Revenge" mode had previously been mentioned for a release at the same time as Zangetsu. This statement was made in error. Boss Revenge is scheduled for the content update that follows Zangetsu and Randomizer.
News about Switch
It is possible that Switch players have already noticed the 1.04 update that was released in January. While this was the latest Switch update focused primarily on performance, we haven't finished working to improve the platform. The Switch version has come a long way since its launch and we are happy with the progress it has made, but much remains to be done (especially in large rooms / dragon towers). We will continue to implement improvements along with content updates to make the experience as smooth as possible.
Content rate
Switch version 1.04 put all platforms (PC, PS4, Xbox and Switch) in "Content Parity", which is an elegant way of saying that they all have the same things. This was a great milestone for the game. When all platforms are in the same place, it makes future updates easier to manage. All production teams can work on the same content and post updates on a schedule with shorter gaps between them.
Randomizer mode details
Randomizer is the history campaign you are used to, but with a twist. Before starting a game, players can choose up to eight different game parameters to be generated randomly during the game.
As an example, "Objects – Retention method" means that the objects will always be in the same method of appearance (chest, etc.) as usual. Items found in chests will still be found there, they will simply be mixed. "Completely random" means that anything can fall anywhere.
The mode will protect the saves to ensure that you can get the necessary items to complete the game, so you cannot block your progress.
Once you make your selections, you can generate a seed that you can use as a reference or to share with another person. In addition, a timer will track your progress through the game and show your closing time at the end of a game.
