Europe / North America
The western design for Gargoyle’s Quest II simply oozes paragraph. He makes great use of color, making the image incredibly demonic and apocalyptic, but you still have hints of the playfulness embedded in Ghosts and Goblins franchise.
Japan
The Japanese version is a little more cartoonish, a little less saturated in color, and has a bunch more characters and monsters. We simply adore the logo at the top, shrouded in a shadowy demon, and the way the entire image is framed by a simple red border is inspired. Nice stuff.
