North America / Europe
Yes it is there a lots of going on here, but doesn’t it do a pretty good job of capturing what WarioWare is all about? The bright yellow background harkens back to some of the earliest games in the series, and we love how each minigame character is crowded around a particularly attractive Wari at the top. It gives off Rhythm Heaven Megamix vibes and we’re fine with that.
Japan
The Japanese cover takes a very different approach to what the rest of the world has seen, but still manages to capture that chaotic vibe. The bright spiral pattern behind Wario (in his same creepy pose) is far more eye-catching than the plain yellow, and we’re glad there’s less going on in the foreground in this one. It might not be the best at explaining what the game is about, but you’re sure to be hooked just the same.
