It’s almost that time of year for a new Nintendo Direct presentation that will inform us of Nintendo’s upcoming release schedule for 2023 with the most important release date updates for certain games. Speculation that one is coming soon has been fueled today as it has been revealed that some software IDs on the Canadian Nintendo Switch eShop have been updated. These include Advance Wars 1+2: Re-Boot Camp and the highly anticipated The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. The sequel to The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild is currently scheduled for release on Friday, May 12, though that could change. Advance Wars 1+2: Re-Boot Camp, jointly developed by WayForward and Nintendo, was originally scheduled for release in December 2021, but the game was delayed due to the Russian military invasion of Ukraine. There is a possibility that the Advance Wars collection could be dismissed with one short tweet. If we hear anything about the Nintendo Direct presentation, we’ll of course let you all know.
