Prominent Japanese game development studio Capcom has told investors it is confident it will see record sales in the current fiscal year. The company has one more game to release for the current fiscal year and it is highly anticipated Resident Evil 4 Remake which should be released a week before the end of the fiscal year. The company said its sales were up from 25.8 million in the same period last year and with the release of Resident Evil 4 Remake and continued sales of catalog titles such as Monster Hunter Rise with Sunbreak released on Xbox and PlayStation consoles this spring, the company hopes to sell more than 40 million units of the games, which would be the most ever in an entire year.
