Capcom’s Ace Attorney series has been around for over 20 years. Recently, Nintendo fans have been able to play quite a few games from the franchise. Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney Trilogy and The Great Ace Attorney Chronicles released on Nintendo Switch in 2019 and 2021, respectively.
As for how well the series is currently doing, Capcom COO Haruhiro Tsujimoto gave a brief answer to that in an interview with Famitsu translated by Nintendo Everything. In the interview, Tsujimoto was asked for his opinion on working with existing IPs.
The focus of the interview was mainly on Mega Man and Ghost Trick, the latter of which is directed by Shu Takumi. However, Takumi is also working on the Ace Attorney series, which resulted in Tsujimoto mentioning that the series is “doing extremely well worldwide right now”.
