There was much fanfare when Capcom revealed Marvel Vs. Capcom Fighting Collection: Arcade Classics due out on Nintendo Switch later this year. Shuhei Matsumoto, who is the producer of Marvel vs. Capcom Fighting Collection: Arcade Classics Collection, recently told IGN that Capcom would like to reach as many people as possible by re-releasing all of its classic fighting games on modern consoles.
“We want all our classics [fighting] games that will be available for modern consoles because we just want to be able to reach as many people as possible who may never have had the opportunity to play these games at the time,” Matsumoto began. “So we’re constantly thinking ahead and we want to make sure it’s as accessible as possible for all audiences.”
