Captive Citizens Have Been Scoring Land for Animal Crossing: New Horizons

Animal, captive, citizens, Crossing, Horizons, Land, Scoring

Nintendo has launched two versions of it Crossing the Animals: New Horizons on Nintendo Switch. Beyond that, there still seems to be a serious delay that could harm your information.

According to a post on the Animal Crossing website, Bell Tree Forums, there is a glitter that can add layers of your land to your island paradise. Here is a quick summary, courtesy of Twitter user NintendoFanGirl:

The repost over ac_newhorizons subreddit is very detailed, explaining how exactly this happens.

When you illegally receive a resident issued to another player via CAMPGRoundS (either an amiibo or a random random camper), the conspiracy by the resident may be accepted and will simply mean "New Home". You can never set up new sites if this happens and the resident does not go.

For example. My friend has 10 Villages and one of them is SKYE. They also scan the card of another citizen (for example Sterling) and convince him to come for several days. On the third day, to accommodate Sterling, they chose KICK OUT SKYE, and put him in boxes. After that, I, the one I'm looking for, comes up with ADOPTS SKYE. My Island apartment building where Skye should go in will be scrapped.

Citizens who decide to take it out on their own (they come in to tell you about the exclamation or thought bubble) PLEASE PROTECT it even if it came through amiibo. What determines this glitch is how to OPEN.

Again, to be precise. Villagers acquired through amiibo from your camping site to your squares are 100% safe, amiibo owner. It's a finding (to refer them to other players who don't have amiibo) that you should be aware of.

There is some way to resolve this glitch, by removing the site site (follow these steps), but it is not certain that it will work. Some answers to this same call even say that they have tried to "fix" and have no luck.

The same post encourages all Animal Crossing players to contact Nintendo directly, to make sure this glamor is resolved. Some already have it – with one Reddit user claiming that Nintendo already knew about the issue and was in the process of fixing it:

They said they were in a position to fix it but could not fix the bug without losing some bugs right now, so this could take a few days if not more, maybe a week. BUT they KNOW about this glitch / bug

After further tests, there are reports of similar fillings of the officer Nintendo Support Forums.
