Believe it or not, Marvel’s Midnight Suns is coming out in just 9 days. However, there is still very little information about what is happening with the Nintendo Switch version of the game. In fact, late last year, retail database listings surfaced that didn’t even mention a Switch version, even though developers have said in the past that it would be released on Nintendo’s hybrid console sometime after the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One launch versions.
Well, an official blog post from 2K and Firaxis Games told us why. The developers said in a blog post that they are “excited to announce that the launch of the digital versions of Marvel’s Midnight Suns on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One is scheduled for Thursday, May 11. Please note that the Nintendo Switch version of Marvel’s Midnight Suns is not scheduled any longer.” So, unfortunately, it has been announced that the Nintendo Switch version of the game has been officially cancelled.
