Sid Meier & # 39; s Civilization VI treatment for more DLC is needed than one person, with a new season pass – called the New Frontier Pass – announced this week.
The developer update video has been shared (see above) to give you an idea of what to expect, but it also contains more details of you below. New Frontier Pass is set to add six additional premium packs the following year, adding eight new civilizations, nine new leaders, and new gameplay content for the ongoing game.
Packages are scheduled to be delivered every few months from May 2020:
- Pack # 1: Maya and Gran Colombia Pack. It adds two new civilizations and leaders, one new game mode, new City-States, Resources and Natural wonders. Available May 2020.
- Pack # 2: Ethiopia Pack. Adds one new civilization and leader, one new game mode **, one new District and two new Buildings. Available July 2020.
- Pack # 3: Adds two new civilizations and leaders, one new game mode **, new World Wonders, and a new map. Available September 2020.
- Pack # 4: Adds one new civilization and leader, one new game mode, new City-States, and many new people. Available November 2020.
- Pack # 5: Adds one new civilization with two new leaders ***, one new game mode, a new circuit, and two new Buildings. Available January 2021.
- Pack # 6: Adds one new civilization and leader, one game mode, new World Wonders and a new map. Available March 2021.
That is not perfect, however, because six free updates are no longer in the works. This update was used to include balance changes and free content, among other "surprises", so be sure to pay attention to the contents of the aforementioned DLC releases.
Are you excited to watch all this? New Frontier Pass will cost $ 40 for the first DLC pack that will start live on May 21.
