Here are the full patch notes from Casus Ludi:
In general
– Fixed an issue in chapter selection where repeated keystrokes during the loading screen resulted in an infinite loading screen
– Fixed an issue where the title would not progress past the save warning screen when there is no active internet connection
– Improvements to the HUD, user interface, main menu and display and functionality of interactive elements
– Fixed an issue in the options menu where changes were no longer being recorded after many repeated changes
– Improvements to the character selection screen, especially in controlling the second controller
Playing– Overall gameplay improvements have been made to the interaction of the wolf and fawn with the environment, for example jumping or being thrown into an unexpected area, getting stuck and not being able to continue, or the ability of the wolf to jump to a high ledge without the help of the fawn (when provided) and many other fixes
– The geese, goats and siblings sections have been improved to ensure that NPCs spawn correctly. Progress and progression steps cannot be skipped or block players from continuing
– Many reported gameplay issues that caused the game to freeze or lock have been resolved, including crash and progression errors
– Camera functionality has been improved – transitions and cuts into objects/environments have been smoothed or fixed
– When playing online co-op, improvements have been made to the display of the second character
– Puzzle interactivity has been improved, especially for the goose wind puzzle at the end of chapter 5
Connectivity
– Overall connectivity fixes have been made for online and local co-op gameplay based on user reported issues and feedback
– Fixed an issue reported in local play after launching and canceling the game multiple times in a row where the loading symbol remained present even after the client joined
– Localized text should now appear correctly (based on the user’s language settings) when the client encounters connection problems
– Fixed an issue found after completing an online session and waiting for credits, where returning to multiplayer game modes caused the shoulder and back buttons to lose functionality for one user
– Fixed an issue when closing the pause menu and/or interacting with it while in an online game that caused the user to be logged out
– Improvements to various connectivity issues that caused desynchronization and/or loss of functionality
– Fixes for bugs reported when linking Steam and Epic Games Store accounts, causing the invite friends sub-menu function to stop working
– Fixed various issues such as: searching for local games is unresponsive, trying to select a character in any online mode causes the user to be kicked out of the lobby, or characters cannot be selected (controls are unresponsive)
Controls
– In online co-op, fixes have been made to the controller redistribution menu to display both users’ correct controllers
– Fixed various use cases of controller disconnection issues, including in local solo multiplayer controller disconnection causing the pause menu to only appear for whoever is currently controlling both characters
– When converting from online multiplayer to solo mode, contextual action prompts have been fixed and should display the appropriate inputs for local controllers
– When player 1’s controller is turned off, player 2’s controller will become the primary controller
– Fixed an issue with the controller not completely overriding keyboard functionality in the online multiplayer lobby
