Wise: They hire us to make a certain type of sound and character, and with that comes certain preconceived expectations. Which is good, and also somewhat challenging at times. However, I still always strive to find a new working angle.
Kirkhope: I definitely think it's something you can't escape from. With Yooka's first game it was obvious that I needed that "Banjo-Kazooiety", so I had to find a way not to make them exactly like Banjo-Kazooie, but enough for people to have that flavor. With Yooka 2 it was not a big problem since they did not want it to sound like that.
