This is your reminder that the Synchrony DLC for Crypt of the NecroDancer is now available on Nintendo Switch. This also includes a free update to version 4.0.0, which comes with some quality of life changes and more.

Back in 2022, Brace Yourself Games announced that they will be releasing new DLC for their roguelike rhythm game Crypt of the NecroDancer. Fast forward to 2024 and it is finally locked in release date for Synchrony update.
NecroDancer Crypt: Synchrony will launch on Switch next week March 13, 2024. Here is the official social media update about it:
Synchrony is a “massive new content pack” that adds cross-platform online multiplayer (including co-op and vs modes), three new characters, new items, enemies, traps and more. Here’s what to expect from the three new characters (via Steam):
– New Character: Chaunter — Possesses enemies and fights using their powers!
– New character: Suzu — A fast character with an invincible dash attack!
– New character: Klarinetta — Fight with a giant two-handed sword!
Brace Yourself Games also noted how Crypt of the NecroDancer Version 4.0.0 the update will be released on consoles (free) with this DLC. It will include the same quality of life updates that are already on your PC. Synchrony will also come with support for mods:
“V4.0.0 will be coming to consoles along with DLC as a free update so you can get the same quality-of-life changes we’ve added to the PC version since v3.0.0! SYNCHRONY includes cross-platform multiplayer and mod support ALL KIND OF BIG THING !!”
