In a new trailer to compliment the recent release of Darkest Dungeon II, Red Hook Studios and Skybound Games have announced that a physical edition of the game will be coming to consoles on October 22, 2024.
The Switch edition comes with a physical game card, a paper stagecoach design with assembly instructions, and the original soundtrack including a Bandcamp redemption code. Pre-orders are now available at select retailers.
In our Darkest Dungeon II review here on Nintendo Life, we gave the sequel eight out of ten stars. Here’s what we had to say:
“Darkest Dungeon 2 may not be the sequel that ardent fans of the original wanted it to be, but its unique approach to that gritty, brutal roguelike game is still compelling. The memorable art style, tons of replayability, and plenty of mechanical depth make this an easy recommendation for all roguelike fans, even if it can be a little grindy at times If you’ve been looking for another fierce roguelike to add to your collection, Darkest Dungeon 2 is definitely worth your time and money.”
