You may recall that last month Nintendo canceled its Nintendo Live 2024 event in Tokyo due to threats against staff. The event was originally scheduled to take place on January 20 and 21, 2024, and resulted in the postponement of the 2024 Splatoon 3 World Championship, the Mario Kart 8 Deluxe Online Challenge Final Stage, and the 2024 Mario Kart 8 Deluxe World Championship.
The event was also supposed to feature Splatoon 3’s Deep Cut concert, which was also postponed. However, the official Splatoon North American Twitter account confirmed that “the show must go on” and the concert will now take place on February 10th. It will also be released on Nintendo’s official YouTube channel for fans to watch at home. The announcement tweet is below.
