Devolver and Ron Gilbert announce Return to Monkey Island

In a move which has surprised and pleased fans, Devolver Digital and Ron Gilbert have announced that Return to Monkey Island is currently in active development. The new game is a sequel to both PC point and click classics

Secret of Monkey Island and Monkey Island 2: LeChuck’s Revenge, and will arrive later this year. Platforms have not been discussed as of yet by Devolver Digital, but fingers are firmly crossed that a Nintendo Switch version is in the works.
