The Disney Dreamlight Valley development team said they would deliver a new update “in early June,” and the day has arrived with “The Remembering” update.
The fifth major update will roll out in all regions June 7 (again, it’s already in some locations today), and allows players to “uncover the secret of Oblivion”. Your “decorating dreams” will also come true with a touch of magic, furniture, dolls and more.

Disney Dreamlight Valley – Update 5
NEW CONTENT AND IMPROVEMENTS: 
– It’s our biggest story update yet! The story behind The Forgetting comes full circle!
– Fairy Godmother – along with her friendly quests – arrives in the Valley, giving the answer to the long-standing question “who does that giant pumpkin belong to?”
– Celebrate all things Pixar with the all-new Wonder of Pixar Star Path, featuring exclusive items from the upcoming feature film Elementaryas well as Inside Out, Finding Nemo and Finding Doryand Turn red.
– Even more new, optional items are on their way to the Premium Shop for a limited time, including a dark castle house style, vacation-inspired dream styles for multiple characters, animal skins, and more!
– Browse with confidence. View in-game item models in the Premium Shop before purchasing them.
– The Premium Shop refresh time has been adjusted to Wednesday at 9:00 AM ET (from Friday).
– Alert about a new shipment! Scrooge McDuck’s Store has received a new series of collectible items, including an assortment of pumpkin-themed merchandise.
– To help you keep track of which Scrooge McDuck’s shop items you have added to your collection (and which ones you haven’t yet), a red dot will be displayed on shop items that are not yet owned.
– Leave your mark on the Valley with the expanded Touch of Magic feature, which lets you customize furniture using your hard-earned motifs.
– Bring a little more style to rainy days in the Valley with the new hand accessories for umbrellas.
– You can now place multiple different houses for players throughout the Valley. Note that only one instance of any house style can be placed.
– Upgrade your wardrobe! Use the new doll feature to save, view and instantly change into your favorite clothes at the touch of a button.
– Roads in the Valley have been given a shine, allowing you to add borders to them.
– Customize the look of your tools with Premium Tool Skins.
– We’ve added a news feed to the Start menu to keep you up to date with all the latest news Disney Dreamlight Valley additions.
– Added a switch in the options menu on high performance hardware (PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series S/X) that allows players to increase the Valley item limit, allowing 1200 unique objects / 6000 total objects (including duplicates) to be placed.
– Added Steam and Epic Game Store achievements.

TOP BUG FIXES:
– Fixed an issue where all Passion Lilies in the Frosted Heights biome would appear red on the ground, but would change to their correct color when picked up.
– Fixed an issue preventing players from cooking the Dream Fizz recipe.
– Fixed an issue that caused certain task provider icons to display incorrectly in their frames.
– Fixed an issue where Scrooge McDuck’s shop would appear empty.
– Fixed an issue where the game would open in a small window for some PC players, preventing interaction with the game.
– Fixed an issue that prevented the creation of memory shards and star coins when watering dry flowers or removing small nightthorns.
– Fixed an issue that prevented players from buying or selling items from Goofy’s stall.
– “Stitch’s Hobby” quest: Fixed an issue that prevented some players from giving Stitch his repaired TV.
– “Staking Your Territory” quest: Fixed an issue that prevented players from removing the mustache Nala asked them to do during this quest.
– “Collect Them All: Strangers Outside!” quest: Fixed an issue where alien toys would occasionally spawn in inaccessible locations.
– Quest “A Story to Tell”: Fixed an issue where the photo taken by the player was not recognized during this quest.
– “Eyes in the Dark” quest: Fixed an issue where freezing would send players back to an earlier stage of the quest where they had to bring the sound system to Nala and prevent further progress.
– “Eyes in the Dark” quest: Fixed an issue where the slime bug under the rock was unavailable.
– Quest “Remy’s Recipe Book”: Fixed an issue where the peanut required for this quest would disappear from the player’s inventory.
– Fixed an issue that prevented the game from recognizing the completion of the “Take a Photo with Mirabel” duty.
– Fixed an issue where Mirabel’s icon appears on the map, but she is not present at that location in the game.
– Fixed an issue where oysters would stop spawning in the Dazzle Beach biome.
– Fixed an issue that caused the Raven Wings item to repeat swinging every few seconds.
– Fixed an issue that caused some items to appear visible through walls.
