In these trying times we can all do it with some relief – taking a little massage all day. When we hear about the blue, drop some classic Rareware songs from the likes of Country Donkey Kong and Banjo-Kazooie it never ends.
As luck would have it, both of them the composers behind the winners put soundtracks to Yooka-Laylee
The sound of the first game was recently made available back in 2017, and the OST of the series was only available through Bandcamp so far, so it's nice to see the original and the latest widely distributed. Davis Wise and Grant Kirkhope were not alone in making the Playuoic retrograde songs & # 39; suo; they were joined by former Rare broadcaster Steve Burke in the first match with his Pattonic Matt Griffin and Dan Murdoch respectively.
We're big fans of both sounds, and highlighted the music in our reviews. Here is a quote from our Imp Lair review that discusses its beauty:
… Ex-Rare composers David Wise and Grant Kirkhope (…) assist the Playtonic audio team of Dan Murdoch and Matt Griffin with lead music. Almost every single track is a winner (our favorite is the & # 39; frozen & # 39; version of the Fantastic Frount) and it's amazing to hear how the themes change as the rankings change.
Here's a look at the digital covers:
