2023’s beat ’em up Double Dragon Gaiden: Rise of the Dragons will get a free DLC pack next month.
Maximum Entertainment has announced that this Double Dragon title will receive a free “Holy gathering” DLC included April 4, 2024. This will add “new modes, characters, online co-op and more” across all platforms. Here’s some PR about it:
“Ranzou will make a glorious comeback after his last appearance in the game Double Dragon IV, where he will be able to use the skills he learned through his ninja training to destroy enemies in the blink of an eye. If Ranzou veterans need a new challenge, they can use his powers in an all-new survival mode. Survival mode will challenge you to defeat waves of increasingly powerful enemies. Improve your character between rounds with tons of new, more impressive upgrades and last as long as possible. Plus, join forces with a friend from anywhere in the world as online co-op will launch side by side Holy Gathering.”
