Square Enix said it will continue to improve Dragon Quest Monsters: The Dark Prince on Nintendo Switch, and late last month it released a new update, bringing the game up to Version 1.0.3.

This patch includes system-related updates, some bug fixes, and a few other changes. The team says it’s also considering further updates, including bug fixes and some functional tweaks. Here’s a full rundown of the latest patch update via Square Enix’s official support page:

• The probability of some special skills and talents that can cause stun has been reduced.
• Show of Force overall success rate increased by 10% in game.
• In the DLC “Mole Hole,” monsters will respawn randomly without leaving the dungeon after defeating or scouting monsters in each level.
• In the additional downloadable content “Coach Joe’s Dungeon Gym,” the number of times a new dungeon can be generated has been increased from once per day to three times per day.
• In the additional downloadable content “Coach Joe’s Dungeon Gym,” the number of treasure chests found in the dungeon with difficulty levels ★, ★★ and ★★★ has been increased.

Error corrections

• The frequency of errors that cause the game to be forced to close has been reduced.
•Fixed an issue with internet disconnection causing the match to be interrupted during online battles.
• Fixed a bug that could cause the game to freeze under certain conditions when changing seasons.
• Fixed a bug that could cause the game to fail to progress when certain meat was given to a monster during battle.
• Several other bugs have been fixed.

Other

• A treasure chest containing two Bumper bonus balls is placed on the B1 floor of Rosehill Tower.

We will continue to look for further updates that include bug fixes and functional adjustments.
