Bloomberg is reporting this morning that Yu Miyake is stepping down from the popular Dragon Quest franchise due to delays with the highly anticipated next installment, Dragon Quest 12. The news will come as a blow to fans of the long-running series. Mr. Miyake will instead focus on the smartphone game division. Bloomberg concludes its report by saying that NieR series producer Yosuke Saito is currently a potential successor to the Dragon Quest producer role.
