We continue to receive news for the celebration of the E3 2021. This is news that has been confirmed this afternoon by those responsible for the event.

E3 2021 will be held online next month, and ESA offers a first look at what a fully virtual E3 will look like with details of the event’s online portal and app.
The E3 2021 online portal and application will be a key hub for the duration of the show, with virtual “booths”, hosted events, video conferencing, avatar and profiling, online forums and more. The online portal, created by Game Cloud Network, HCL Technologies Ltd and Revyrie Inc., will be the destination for all things E3, starting with a week of media access starting Monday, June 7, followed by public access. Saturday June 12. the first day of the E3 broadcast.
Registration to access the E3 portal online will be free and will begin later this month.
As of June 12, the public version of the online portal will give access to:
- Exhibitor Booths – With special events, VOD content, and merchandise, Exhibitor Booths will act as hubs within the portal for key announcements and gaming information linked to each exhibitor.
- Lounges – Online meeting places for all E3 attendees
- Forums: special forums for specific online discussions and for sharing among attendees
- Leaderboards – show gamified items that can be collected and displayed, encouraging fans to interact in as many ways as possible
- Profiling – All attendees can create their own unique profiles within the portal and the app, which can be customized.
The E3 2021 portal and online app will also feature live streaming of E3, with interactive overlays powered by Hovercast. Charts will be interactive across platforms, including viewer polls, featured tweets, and more. The broadcast will be hosted by Alex “Goldenboy” Mendez, Jacki Jing and Greg Miller and will feature presentations from leading publishers, press conferences, industry panels, extended live broadcasts, and guest appearances.
Before June 12, a five-day media week will use the online portal and app to help media gain access to connect directly with E3 exhibitors. An online calendar tool will allow you to schedule appointments, as well as include video conferencing and chat functions as needed. Media registration and accreditation will begin later this month.
The all-digital E3 2021 experience runs from Saturday, June 12 to Tuesday, June 15.
