If you’ve been wondering where the first story expansion DLC is for Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes, you might want to read on…
In a new Kickstarter update on the last day of the month, developer Rabbit & Bear Studios announced that the Marisa DLC will be “delayed beyond August” with a new release date to be announced “soon.”
The delay is apparently related to the “time required to issue free digital codes” to backers:
“Due to the time it takes to release the digital codes and send them to backers for free, so the Marisa DLC will be delayed beyond August. We appreciate your patience and will announce a new release date soon… We ask for everyone’s patience as we arrange for backers to receive their codes for free sooner general release DLC.”
The same update also mentions that the three DLC scenarios “Marisa”, “Seign” and “Markus” will be the “final scenarios” written by Yoshitaka Murayama.
The “chapter of Seign” and “Markus” story expansions were originally scheduled to arrive in September 2024 and October 2024, respectively, and the development team hopes that everyone will be able to “play these scenarios as soon as possible.” When Marisa’s story arrives, here’s what to expect:
“Adventure awaits in the Marisa Story Expansion DLC, launching in August! Experience Marisa’s story as a guardian as you explore with the enchanted girl. Discover the secrets of the Child of the Rune.”
