Since the game was released after Nintendo’s September 2023 Direct, F-Zero 99 has been receiving a slow but gradual update with additional content and various bug fixes. Most of the updates were previously announced by Nintendo, but the game now has a lot of content that it didn’t have at launch.
Well, Nintendo didn’t announce it in advance, but F-Zero 99 got another new update tonight. After the update, the game should be on version 1.2.1. This update doesn’t add much though. In fact, all Nintendo says is that they “fixed an issue that could occasionally cause players to land off the track when exiting the Skyway on the cool secret track on MUTE CITY I that occasionally appears in F-ZERO 99 mode”.
