Former Super Play artist and Rare frontman, Wil Overton has announced on Twitter that he is not part of the world's oldest animal group. a Nintendo-centric print magazine.
The & # 39; Falcon Punch & # 39; s excellent reputation will be proud of Overton's anime-style art and will aim to cover features and reviews rather than the latest news – a smart move, given the fact that print media is completely free online these days. Other groups Chris Smith (of RetroCollect and Power is high fame), Lee Garbutt (of. PugHoof Games fame – you used to contribute to this site quite a bit) Danny Major (who you spoke to GoldenEye developer David Doak on our behalf not long ago).
Overton told us that the team is still trying to find the right balance for content, but the magazine will talk about all Nintendo history events and will have some focus on community engagement (such as the old days, when the magazines were full of student drawings and quizzes asking which console was best) .
That means that things like home content, game mods, cosplay, Nintendo teen art and social art, can make Falcon Punch the best book in the Nintendo world.
And there will be plenty of actors behind it, as were the other Overton magazines he worked on during his time at Future Publishing:
This issue is still valid, but you can follow the group with Falcon Punch Twitter account. We'll be conducting a full interview with the people behind it soon, so watch this space.
